Many individuals would like to make lifestyle changes but have difficulty getting started….And they often struggle with long term success. In this program, patients are supported to integrate sensible, evidence based dietary changes and increased activity into their daily lives over a 10 week period. Participants will attend both group and individual sessions that allow for greater lifestyle customization than simple group programs.

Once the 10 week program is completed, the group will continue to meet monthly for the next 6 months. This will support participants to further sustain the changes they’ve made and continue to improve their health long after the initial program has finished.

Recruitment for the next group is currently underway and is open to all adult patients of the clinic.  It is free of charge.   Please call (905)-456-7111 ext 2 to learn more.

Living Life to the Full

Living Life to the Full is a skills-enhancing course which is based on CBT principles. These interactive sessions will help participants help understand their feelings, thoughts, and behaviours, and what to do about them. In 8 sessions (each 90 minutes in length), Living Life to the Full helps people make a difference in their lives.
Each session is moderated by trained facilitators and includes a booklet, handouts, exercises and discussions.
