Each of our allied healthcare team members has specialized expertise that they are able to provide to complement care that is provided on a primary care level.

Registered Nurse

Registered Practical Nurse

Our nursing staff provides a plethora of services ranging from care coordination general health screening services such as blood pressure checks, immunizations, as well as administration of a variety of treatments and diagnostic tests. The nursing staff works closely with your physician and allied healthcare team to support your health.

Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioners are Registered Nurses with advanced post-graduate university studies in nursing who are qualified to assess, diagnose, and treat patients within a defined scope of practice.
Our Nurse Practitioners employ advanced knowledge and skills in assessment, diagnosis, and healthcare management and work closely with your family physicians. They provide health care for a variety of conditions and also perform annual physical exams, write prescriptions, and order a variety of diagnostic and screening tests. They focus on health promotion, disease and injury prevention, and manage non-complex health issues including acute illnesses and injuries.

Pharmacist

Our Pharmacist optimizes a patient’s drug therapy by identifying, preventing, and resolving medication-related issues through individual counselling. You may meet with our pharmacist for a medication review as they are involved in many of our clinic run programs. Our pharmacist is also a Certified Diabetes Educator who can assist with diabetes-related questions and is a Smoking Cessation counsellor.

Mental Health Counsellor

Our Mental Health Counsellors provides counselling to patients and their families through individual/group sessions and group workshops, to help optimize their psycho-social functioning and mental health. Our Mental Health Counsellors specializes in counselling for depression, anxiety, and trauma, and also provides ancillary counselling to help families and couples connect more closely.

Health Educator

Our Health Educator works directly with patients living with or are at risk of developing chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, and age-related physical decline to integrate active lifestyle changes that improve health. Our health educator is also a certified diabetes educator and registered kinesiologist with specialized training in preventing and managing physical injury, chronic disease diagnoses, and overall physical health and fitness.

Dietitian

Our Registered Dietitian provides nutritional counseling for patients with specific medical conditions such as diabetes, high cholesterol, and digestive issues and a variety of other concerns and conditions.
The dietitian works closely with your family doctor and/or other healthcare professionals, to help you manage your health. Above all, the dietitian works collaboratively with you to help you achieve your personal nutrition and health goals.
