Event Calendar - July 2025

The staff and practitioners at Central Brampton Family Health Team are dedicated to working with you on your journey to sustained good health. We are excited to provide the following educational workshops and events. You do not need to be a patient to register. Anyone in the community can participate!

Healthy Families: Events and Workshops

Join our Nurse for this 90-min workshop and learn everything you need to know about introducing solid food to your baby. Best suited for parents whose baby is 2-6 months old. This workshop is held once a month via Zoom. Check out our events calendar for more information!

Join our Registered Dietitian for this 1.5-hour workshop where you will learn how to manage and prevent picky eating habits in toddlers and young children (8-10 years of age). This is a FREE program offered to patients and community members. Join our Registered Dietitian and Lactation Expert to learn about nutrition and breastfeeding for baby and mother. Support-group style educational sessions are offered once a month via Zoom  (every second Wednesday at 10 am). It can be hard to know where to start with high cholesterol. Our team offers a compassionate approach using tools such as moderation, mindful eating, consistent pressure monitoring, and Mediterranean dietary habits that you can use to improve your health outcomes.

Mental Health: Events and Workshops

Central Brampton Family Health Team is proud to announce that the Coping Conversations Webinar Series has won a 2020 Bright Lights Award presented by the Association of Family Health Teams in Ontario. Click HERE to learn more!

Join this webinar every week to discuss healthy strategies that support mental health and well-being. Each session is led by a Mental Health Counsellor who is also a Registered Social Worker (MSW). These interactive sessions will help participants learn and utilize helpful skills and tools to deal with every day life situations.

Senior Wellness: Events and Workshops

Central Brampton Family Health Team is proud to offer a Senior Chair Exercise Program and Social Hour at our North Park location! 

Join us every Monday in person for a fun and engaging hour! Designed specifcally for our senior community members, this program offers a perfect mix of gentle chair-based exercises and social activities.

Sessions happen twice every Monday – First session is at 10AM, Second session is at 11AM at 2130 N Park Dr, Suite 238, Brampton.
