Vaccine Information

Central Brampton Family Health Team will provide updates on vaccines and vaccine clinics on this page. Please visit this page regularly to keep up to date as information is constantly evolving.

We are creating a list of patients who are interested in receiving the vaccine at Central Brampton Family Health Team. At this current time, we are not offering any vaccines, but if you fill out the expression of interest form, you will be contacted when we begin booking patients. If you receive your vaccine before hearing from us, please notify the team when they contact you.

Our office will be administering the Astra-Zeneca vaccine which is approved in Canada and is recommended by your family doctor.

All patients, including patients with chronic disease, are recommended to receive the vaccine (including patients with cardiac and blood pressure, respiratory or diabetic conditions).

The Astra-Zeneca vaccine is used to prevent COVID-19 and it is strongly recommended to receive the first vaccine that is available to you (as long as there are no contraindications – please speak to your healthcare provider). The risk of blood clots with vaccines is very small – please view this graphic from Thrombosis Canada (click HERE).

Please visit Peel Public Health’s website or the Government of Ontario website to see if you are eligible to be vaccinated.
